The importance of the gastrointestinal manifestation of the hereditary haemorrhagic
teleangiectasia (Osler-Rendu-Weber disease) has been discussed, in connection with the differential-diagnosis of gastrointestinal
bleeding.
With reference to a case the therapeutic possibilities have been described, and the
value of “urgent” endoscopy was emphasized.
